View classes of Brenda AllanI have been a lipreading tutor for 12 years. As a person with a severe hearing loss, I fully appreciate how important the classes are.
As well as tutoring the lipreading classes, my role involves working in our deaf equipment resource centre, demonstrating and giving information on supportive equipment available.
Having this dual role works well and is very rewarding; it allows me to bring supportive equipment along to the classes when covering these topics.
